YES Calendar 2012 Backstage
The 2012 YES Campaign, which was inaugurated by a new calendar, was a spectacular event both in the jewellery and the fashion world. The 2012 YES Calendar edition is not only fascinating gemstones but also unique collections by young Polish designers.
The beauty of jewellery as inspiration for the most interesting talents from the Polish world of fashion – this was the idea behind the 2012 YES Calendar. As the starting point for their artistic search young designers received only two elements: a YES gemstone and the information that it will be presented with their design on a Valentine’s Day page of the calendar, for example.
Krzystof Stróżyna, Blessus, Bizuu, Mariusz Przybylski, Zuo Corp, Łukasz Jemioł – these are the best Polish designers whose talent and imagination created unique and intriguing collections for the 2012 YES Calendar. The cover presents a design by the Polish-German fashion designer, Dawid Tomaszewski, in elegant harmony with the YES jubilee collection with a blue topaz and diamonds. The following pages also present the jewellery created by YES Designers: Éternel – an ideal one-stone diamond ring and a matching wedding ring as well as a magical artistic necklace with Swarovski Elements and pearls of which only 30 copies were made. It also presents the designs from the most popular collections: YES Rings and YES Steel.
Natural character, beauty, emotions and the intriguing personality of a contemporary woman – all this can be seen in the 2012 YES calendar. It is full of expression and sophistication at the same time. It is a complete work of art. This is down to the photographer, Aldona Karczmarczyk from Warsaw, whose portfolio includes projects realised for the biggest cosmetics and clothing brands, as well as the talented model, “the new face” of the YES campaign, Ewa Witkowska – the first Pole whose face appeared on the cover of the French edition of the Vogue magazine.
The film made during the photo session for the 2012 YES Calendar was part of the YES advertising campaign on television.
